KAIZEN

 

What is Kaizen?

Kaizen means “improvement”

Involves the whole organization- managers and workers alike

Management has two major components:

-Maintenance

-Improvement

 

Kaizen Maintenance

  Establish policies, rules, directives and procedures(sop’s)

  Involve everyone to follow sop’s

 

Kaizen Improvement

·         Continuous improvement in current sop’s

·         Mastering these and establishing higher ones

·         Innovation
